Your Contract is with Evangelia Leclaire
1. Definitions:
● ‘We’ means Evangelia Leclaire.
● ‘You’ means the person who has made the booking.
● ‘Retreat’ means the event for which you have made the booking.
● ‘Force Majure’ means any circumstances that are unusual and/or unforeseeable, which are beyond the control of Evangelia Leclaire, and of which the consequences could not be avoided, despite all due care and diligence. Examples may include (but are not limited to) death, illness, war, threat of war, political unrest, industrial dispute, natural or other disaster, fire, flood, drought, weather, travel issues.
● ‘Major change’ includes a significant change to the plans of the retreat, such as the date, venue or a significant proportion of the content of the retreat program.
2. Travel Insurance:
It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured for your travel and stay. We cannot accept liability if your transport plans are disrupted or cancelled. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate documentation, passports and visas in place to travel, if you are coming from another country. We regret that we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change in travel or cancellation if you cancel your retreat booking.
3. Booking:
Your booking covers accommodation, food and all activities as laid out in the retreat description. It does not include travel, clothing, alcohol, snacks, and optional additional treatments.
To make a booking, please elina@glampful.com and secure your slot. Since our retreats extremely affordable and require advance planning with third-party vendors, we require 100% payment to secure your slot of which 25% is non-refundable. Upon receipt of payment, a legally binding contract is in place between us, according to the terms in this document.
4. Payment:

5. Cancellation by you:
Should you need to cancel your booking, please contact Elina at elina.leclaire@gmail.com. We regret that we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation if you cancel your retreat booking.
We understand that you secured your slot in good faith, but may need to cancel for unforeseen reasons. Please also keep in mind that planning retreats, require us to incur costs in advance to secure lodging and vendors. Our refund policy us fair in consideration of your circumstances, while recognizing the logistical and financial implications of your cancellation.
The following cancellation charges apply:
● Cancellation more than 4 weeks before the retreat: 75% refund.
● Cancellation 4 to 2 weeks before the retreat: 50% refund.
● Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the retreat: No refund, but transfer allowed. You may transfer your spot to someone else (subject to my approval).
Should you decide to pull out of the retreat once the retreat has started, you will be liable for the full cost and we will not refund.
In cases of illness, including Covid-19, preventing your attendance at the retreat, we will not be able to refund any monies paid, and we strongly advise that you take out your own travel insurance policy.
6. Cancellation and changes by us:
We reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time and will refund you in the event of a cancellation. In such circumstances, we are not responsible for any other costs incurred to you, such as travel fees.
We begin planning the arrangements of a retreat many months in advance and so we reserve the right to make changes to retreat details both before and after bookings have been confirmed. For example, a facilitator may become ill and we may need to find an alternative facilitator for the same activity, or to find a suitably alternative activity in its place. Most changes are minor, but occasionally we may have to make a major change.
If we have to make a major change, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of this change and give you a choice of the following options:
1. Acceptance of the changes.
2. Making alternative arrangements, as appropriate.
3. Move your booking to an alternative date.
4. Full refund of all fees already paid.
Due to the unpredictability of Force Majure events, we shall not be liable for any changes made before or during the retreat, due to such events. Where possible, we will offer you an alternative date or arrangement. Should we be forced to cancel your booking, due to a Force Majure, we will not be able to offer any refund, pay any compensation or cover any fees or costs you incur as a result. This should be covered by your travel insurance.
7. Code of conduct:
When you book onto the retreat, you accept responsibility for your own conduct whilst on the retreat. We ask that you are kind, polite and courteous to other people on the retreat, ourselves and the facilitators. It is not a dry retreat, but we ask that you limit alcohol intake so that you do not become drunk or rowdy. People come on a retreat to relax and feel at ease. If we or the accommodation owner feel that you are behaving in such a way as to cause danger, damage or upset to any other person on the retreat, or the property, we reserve the right to terminate your right to stay on the retreat, and will ask you to leave either immediately, or (in the case of it being night time) the next morning. In such a circumstance, no refund will be made and we will not be responsible for paying any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.
You will be responsible for making full payment for any damage or loss caused by you. Payment must be made at the time to either us, the supplier or facilitator or the accommodation owner to whom the monies are owed. You will be responsible for any claims subsequently made to us, due to your actions.
We are not responsible for any damages or losses made to your person or personal affects during the retreat. Nor are we liable for any injuries your sustain through your own actions or through not telling us of any health issues relating to the resulting injury prior to the activity.
8. Medical Needs
You are responsible for your own medical needs and requirements. It is your responsibility to inform us of all your past, present and potential health issues that mean that you are not able to access or participate in retreat activities. Should you not be able to access an activity, no alternative will be given, and no refund or part-refund will be made. We will, however, try our best to meet your needs wherever is reasonably possible. Failure to disclose such information may result in termination of your contract with us, and you may be asked to leave the retreat. In some circumstances, a letter from a suitable medical practitioner may be needed to show that you are able to participate in an activity. It is your responsibility to ensure that this is provided. It is otherwise your own discretion to determine that you can safely engage with an activity, without injury. Please feel free to discuss this with us or the facilitators.
Please note that, should emotional-issues or challenges arise from the activities in the retreat, we are under no obligation to provide counseling or any other additional mental health service to support you with this. Attendance at the retreat is not therapy or counseling. We urge you to consider your own ability to deal with anything that may arise, and to ensure that you have appropriate support and provision to support you, should you need it. We cannot guarantee any specific outcomes or that all attendees will achieve the same results.
9. Media
We reserve the right to take photographs during the retreat and activities, and to use these in our advertising, promotional materials, website and social media. Should photographs be taken during sessions run by our outside facilitators, we will pass on the use of these photographs to them for use in their own promotional materials. Should you not wish to have your face included in such photographs, please inform us ahead of the retreat.
10. Copywrite
The content of the activities, events and the retreat in general are for your own personal use only. Copying and replication of the content or materials is not permitted and we ask that you do not pass on any material to a third party.
